Improving Your Presentation Skills

The good news and the bad news are the same - We're human. Whether you are starting your own business, want to advance your career and simply want more confidence and joy as you go through life, it seems logical to think we must have some sort of mastery of interpersonal human dynamics. But do we really? How can we be sure?

These five workshops will entertain and inform you of some of the many meaningful steps you can take to create the life you want.

Presentation and persuasion power: One on One and in groups. Whether we like it or not people judge us on not only what we say but how we say it. For your presentations to inform and enroll effectively, your cadence, tone of voice, body language and level of confidence must convey a consistent and engaging feel. This class will help get you started in developing this practice.
How to deal with difficult people: Getting along with people is the medium of exchange that underlies all important group and individual interaction success. When you are confronted with someone you think of as difficult, you can inadvertently divert vital creative resources away from solving problems and become defensive. This class can help you use the negative energy of the difficult person to transform conflict into cooperation.
Settling for More: If you don't know what you want, any path will take you there. When you are clear about the principles and measurables of achievement, you massively increase your chances of success. This class will include specific models of practical solo and team approaches to setting goals and allowing yourself to reach them.
Motivating others through language: Do you consider yourself a 'team player?' Great teams exhibit a natural flow of give and take where individual differences are less important than getting the whole job done well. In stressful business situations the logical and emotional voices of various team members can oppose each other and bring productivity to a halt. In this class you'll get a chance to practice techniques that will motivate you and others to realize forward momentum and success.
The Effective Meeting maker: Who called this meeting and why? Whether you are talking privately on the phone or facilitating a large corporate conversation, meetings have often been described as a waste of time. In order to best utilize the time and resources of a meeting, essential elements of enrollment, commitment, shared responsibilities and a who-does-what-by when rigor must be applied. This class shows you how to develop and implement that discipline.
