Continuing in our 25th year of service to the spirit of Clear and Compassionate Communication and Skill Building for Business
and Personal Growth.
Summer greetings to all...
Last month I reminisced about how wonderful it is to reconnect with old friends and rekindle interests!
And I am planting evermore new seeds with my rich and fertile community.
Since turning 50 on March 3, I have felt a strong desire to have a gathering in celebration of all the dear people
who have helped me create an abundant life. You and you and you...You have all blessed me
with your friendship along the way. Thank you so very much!
Last month I asked "Who would you like to reconnect with?" Well,
the answer for me this month is "You".
The physical barrier between you and me and all of
us is melting away in the coming long light of summer. Come now to our Open House at 68 Caincrest
Road in York, Maine on Saturday, June 24 from 12 noon until 6pm.
It will be a place where friends can meet friends and neighbors can greet
neighbors. And it will be a safe place for our hearts' desires to play and for our bodies to be nourished with incredibly delicious pot luck vittles.

Play the Nametag game...
Life's a game, they say, and so we're all players. We have roles to play every livelong day.
We accept ourselves as parents, friends, sweethearts. We get up in the morning, put on the clothes of bankers, real estate brokers, CEO's, firemen, yoga instructors, and invest ourselves
in our work.
But is this what we really want? Is this what we wanted to be when we grew up? Have we created the lives of our dreams, the dreams of our lives?
Are we living the dream? Or is this the fairy tale in somebody else's bookcase?
I have a practice that helps me visualize what I
have to give and then encourages me to ask what is it that I'd like to receive.
It's called the Nametag Game. Anne Bryer and I used to share this game when we were facilitators at Singles Community night at the Interface Center in Newton.
Goes like this...
Put a nametag on your front with your name AND a phrase that describes what you enjoy giving to others (a smile, reading their palms, a funny story, advice on how to grow the best peonies, etc.)
And, on your back with a little help from a friend, stick on a
nametag with your name and something you'd like to RECEIVE. (people can
notice this anonymously as something you describe in very few words that
you are requesting but not demanding: a hug, a new car, $10,000 for your favorite charity, employment hosting, clever parties, etc.)
The results I've noticed are always wonderful - people laughing, sharing and really getting to know one another in a safe and happy way.
You don't have to wait until the
amazing June 24 Shindig Chez Kanzer (we'll show you how) - you can play this game at lunch in your corporate cafeteria and/or daycare center and/or church coffee klatch next week.

If summer's a blast,
well, why not let's make it an explosion?
We'll try our best to keep it cool even while we're heating up the grills, our hearts and minds and bodies, too.
Much like a convention, but it may well be un-conventional.
Music, croquet, volleyball, badminton, treasure hunt... Grilling, thrilling us with your favorite pot-luck offerings.
Bring your lawn chairs, your frisbees, your guitars and instruments. Bring
swimming gear and change of clothes in case you want to visit local beaches and
come back again.
In the early evening we can sit on the porch and listen to the peepers, or head down to Seapoint Beach for a small bonfire, or boogie on down the road to rockin' blues at the Inn on the Blues...
